Easter

Rainy days.  Oh how blissful they were.  I love rain, especially at night lulling you to sleep as it falls on the tin roof.  Winter come soon...

Eggs of all descriptions.  Candied ones for my chocolate detesting girl.  Smashed to smithereens before I got the chance to look at them.

Chocolate for my boy.  Oh dear..the sugar hit.....  Breathe Mum.....

Croissants for breakfast.  A rare treat that starts the day off well.

Play time with the teenage boy next door.  We don't see him as much now as he got his licence a couple of months ago.  Getting dinner is a breeze when he's occupying the kidlettes with a game of hide and seek.  Spread over two houses and yards there's plenty of places to hide and have fun.

New friends made.  Two children have moved in across the road and are of about the same age as our two.  Lots more hide and seek and riding bikes and scooters.  It's lovely to see them play so well together.

Quiet craft time while it's raining and the kidlettes are watching movies/playing xbox.  These are moments to appreciate and enjoy.

...and having hubby  home for the rest of the school holidays.  Picnics and camping trips are planned. In fact we're off up the beach camping again tomorrow for 4 nights. Yay!

xx Susan
